Skin tags are benign growths of skin that are attached to your face or body by a stalk. They are generally the same colour as the rest of your skin, or may be a little darker. Skin tags are commonly found in the areas of your eyelids, armpits, neck, chest or genital area, although they can develop just about anywhere. They are difficult to hide and for this reason, you may want to get rid of any that are in a visible location, such as on your face.
Quick and permanent removal of your skin tags can be performed by Dr. Guirguis.
Dr. Guirguis removes skin tags anywhere on the face or body, including the genital area. Most can be removed under local anesthesia, depending on their size and severity. The process of removing skin tags takes 15 – 30 minutes and there is little to no downtime. You can have the procedure and go right back to your life, while avoiding strenuous activities while stitches are in place. Dissolvable stitches are used so that no stitches need to be removed.
It’s a very safe and straightforward procedure. Many of our clients are shocked at how easy the entire process is, and they can even go back to work the same day they have their surgery.
