Jump6 Gastric Balloon Weight Management Program

Lakeview Surgery Centre introduces the Jump6 Gastric Balloon Weight Management Program. The Balloon is inserted into the stomach through a gastroscopy with light sedation, thereby not requiring an operation. It remains in the stomach for six months, and then removed in a similar fashion. The program includes support from a physician, a dietitian, a nurse, a personal trainer, and a psychologist. The average weight loss is 40 to 60 pounds. The program is approved by Health Canada.
